The CW Source

The fine folks at KWGN in Denver are hosting a Battle of the CW Hotties as we speak. Right now, the Women's bracket is up, but you can still vote in the Men's bracket as well. The second phase of the Men's competition launches Friday, and the second round of Women's matches goes up on Tuesday, February 18 -- so get voting!

Then there's an all networks battle to the death over at the South Florida Sun Sentinel, where CW stars are going up against the juggernauts from the other four broadcast networks. The Bad Boys division (which includes Chuck Bass, Dean Winchester and Damon Salvatore -- and Dean and Chuck are currently losing) is already off the front page, but you can still vote. Keep checking this page throughout the next month to support your fave stars!

* We know, we know -- there are those among you who sneer at such things, who protest that we should focus on the content of the shows and the nuances of the acting rather than the exterior facade of the people who bring our favorite characters to life. And we like to think we do that here... but that doesn't stop us from being able to celebrate the aesthetic pleasures these folks bring to bear. Are we shallow? Maybe. But we are having fun!

Happy Birthday to Bethany Joy Galeotti! Bethany celebrates her 27th birthday today. She's really come a long way since she landed the role of Scout in “To Kill a Mockingbird” at the Irving Community Theater in Texas at the tender age of 10!

Bethany and Haley are both fan favorites. She recently won our much-discussed CW Source Hottie Bracket women's division bracket, and Haley's ups and downs are among OTH's most popular storylines. Haley's grown so much since OTH's first season…

She has gone from Tutor Girl to teacher Mom. Haley’s life really changed she started tutoring Nathan, and after one mac & cheese date it was clear that they were both deeply in love. Then Haley changed Nathan’s life (and let’s face it -- his outlook on life) when they sneaked off and got married in the episode “The Games That Play Us.”

But married life can be difficult -- especially when you get hitched in high school. Haley James Scott got a taste of the big time when she started giving in to her musical instincts. She and Nathan really struggled when she went out on tour with Chris Keller and company during season two, but love prevailed and Haley ended up leaving the tour and coming home to be with her husband.

Congratulations to Haley James Scott, the winner of our CW Source Hotness Bracket, women's division!

That Haley is pretty amazing, isn't she? In the midst of keeping a psycho nanny at bay, deciding to divorce her husband, and telling her best friend he can't marry his fiance, she also managed to win our hotness bracket! Haley's fans fought hard and voted like crazy for her victory -- and it wasn't always an easy battle. After all, Haley was up against some tough competition: the seemingly untouchable Brooke Davis, fashionista extraordinaire. With two immense fanbases squaring off, a little trash-talking in the comments was inevitable, but most fans stayed fairly friendly. And though Brooke made a strong showing, Haley still finished her off as the competition came to a close.

Congratulations again to Haley, and congratulations to Brooke for a hard-earned second place! Check back soon for the men's finals... it's Winchester vs. Winchester (gulp).

We don't know about you, but we're getting sick of winter. To pass the time until spring finally comes, we've decided to turn up the heat – by looking at the CW hotties who make us warm all over. But no matter how many times we hash it out in the office, we can't decide: Who's the hunkiest guy on the network? What about the most gorgeous girl? How could we possibly choose?

Short answer: We won't. You will! We've got a selection of the most delectable men and women from all of your favorite scripted shows on The CW. We're pitting them against each other – and you get to vote for the one who makes your pulse race or your temperature spike. How’s that for a way to beat the winter blues?

Take a look at the polls below. You vote, and the winners of each matchup will advance to the next round. By the end of the month, you’ll have decided who are the most stunning man and woman on the CW network. May the hottest two win!

We're starting with the ladies. Part one is today, and we'll have more ladies for you to vote on later this week. Then we'll kick off next week with the men of The CW. The competition will last through February, so keep the temps rising (on your monitor, at least) and get voting!
